How to Borrow from the DCGI Library

Rules

Proceed as follows to borrow/return from the library:

  1. Enter the search constraints. Eg, to find a book HCI5 type "HCI0005" to HARDCOPY.
  2. Check "Type" you want to search.
  3. If you want to see only the literature borrowed by you (good idea for returning), check the option "Only borrowed by you".
  4. Click to the search button. You obtain a page with the search result which can look as follows:

    User___Key____Author______Title______________________Hardcopy_____Date

felkepet Jiří Žára 1998 Moderní počítačová grafika (CGG.book.G0051) 28-10-2009
Felkel; Mallat 1995 Selected Readings of Computer Graphics Group, part I. (CGG.book.GB012, GB012b) 28-10-2009
vankoma2 Slavík; Wijk; Felkel 1996 Proceedings of 7th Eurographics Workshop on Visualizati (CGG.book.PB) 28-10-2009

  5. The non-empty field "User" indicates that the book is borrowed, then it displays the ID of the person who has the book. Click on this field to return the book. If the book was borrowed a long time ago contact the "User" directly. If you do not know him or if the "User" is extern contact Zuzana Žďárská.
  6. The empty field "User" indicates that the book is available in the library. Click to this field to borrow the book.
  7. Click to the field "Key" to obtain the complete BibTeX entry.
  8. The field "Hardcopy" indicates e.g. signature in the DCGI library. See section below.
  9. The field "Date" indicates the date of borrowing.
