Software support (MS Windows platform only)

Here you can find several software packages for VRML. Before downloading them, check the configuration of your computer and then to install additional pieces of software only.

VRML Browser (plug-in to MSIE/Netscape)	Cortona recommended version: 4.2	www.parallelgraphics.com
VRML Text Editor	VrmlPad recommended version: 2.1	www.parallelgraphics.com
JVM (Java Virtual Machine)	Microsoft JVM	should be already installed in MS IE

Optionally check, whether your browser is able to present VRML and Java applets cooperating via EAI interface:

Then:

If you see nothing, install VRML browser.
If you see only red sphere on the black background, but no control buttons in Java applet below, you have two options

Go to MS IE "Internet options" and set Microsoft JVM as preferable Java interpret (instead of Sun JVM).
Install Java Runtime Environment from java.sun.com.

If you are able to change the color of the sphere via 3 buttons (Red, Green, Blue), everything is O.K. Congratulation!
