Evaluation of pavement object data insertion techniques suitable for crowdsourcing

Dominik Siege Supervisor: Ivo MalĂ˝ Master thesis 2020
This thesis deals with the issue of determining the exact position of objects placed on the city pavements in the map. It analyzes how the user orients himself on the map and which landmarks help him determine the exact position of the object placed on the city pavements. Based on the acquired knowledge, map materials are analyzed. From them, a map base is selected, which contains information for better user orientation. Then, two variants of the mobile application with different positioning methods are proposed. Both variants are implemented in the Android Studio environment in the Kotlin language for mobile devices with the Android operating system. Implemented variants of mobile applications are then tested by ten users. The collected data are then evaluated.
