The main aim of this thesis is to develop game mechanics for an educational game project targeted at children aged 10-15, focusing on internet safety, awareness of scams, and cyberbullying. The game is fundamentally narrative-driven, enriched with diverse story branches, and falls within the adventure genre. The players engage as amateur detectives solving cases. The intended outcome is a playable and tested demo that highlights a gamified scenario that aligns with the educational goals of the project.
