The BP/DP assignment must be valid at the time of submission of the BP/DP, if it is not, you must submit an application for extension of validity to the DCGI study department at Charles Square, which must include the consent of the thesis supervisor. This request will be sent to the Dean with the Head of Department’s statement for processing.
Upload the thesis to KOS by the deadline for submission of the BP/DP (including the assignment ZP without signatures) – see instructions
In the following week – according to the instructions of the department – you will submit two copies of the BP/DP for checking to the DCGI study officer at Charles Square, 3rd floor, room 319 a. The officer will check the formalities, stamp the copies and insert information for the supervisor and the opponent about the deadline for submitting the reports. You will then give the copies to your supervisor and opponent.
Each copy must have the official BP/DP assignment bound at the beginning, one original, one copy. The thesis should be printed double-sided, bound with a good quality binding – see Dean’s Guidelines, Article 3, Section 11.
Source codes are part of the final thesis, subject to evaluation by the supervisor and the opponent, and are therefore uploaded to KOS in the same way as the PDF of the final thesis. In exceptional cases, the supervisor may decide to postpone the publication of the thesis containing source codes or other sensitive data. This agreement must be made as soon as possible, ideally 1 month before the submission deadline, in order to be able to apply to the Dean of FEL for approval to defer publication in time. However, it is not necessary to apply for a deferral of publication of the whole thesis, but only for a part of it. In case of postponement of publication, you will submit the thesis and all appendices on two data carriers together with copies of the thesis.
If the size of individual attachments of the thesis exceeds the limit for uploading to KOS, we recommend compressing the attachments and then splitting them into smaller parts, e.g. using the 7z program (7z and ‑v50M archive files, or shorter archive files: 7z and ‑50000000 archive files).
Upload as part of the DP/BP results 6 images presenting the results (screenshot resolution at least FullHD, 4k renders) that can be used for promotional purposes (e.g. FEL calendar, DCGI/FEL websites, etc.). By uploading, you give the Department of Computer Graphics and Interaction permission to use the images for the aforementioned promotional/presentation purposes of the department/faculty/CCU. Let the images be zipped into one file and put into KOS as an attachment called imgs.zip.
Request credit for the BP/DP course from the thesis advisor for KOS. If the thesis advisor is an extern, he/she will email instructions for credit to the KPGI Registrar – hores@fel.cvut.cz.
You have the right to see the reviews no later than 5 working days before the CSR date.
