Interaction with 3D Objects in Virtual Reality

Tereza Kašparová Supervisor: Ladislav Čmolík Bachelor thesis 2016
The theoretical part deals with analysis/selection of devices for displaying virtual reality, selected devices for interacting with 3D objects and analysis/selection of 3D cursors. It also discusses the 3D version of Fitts' Law and analysis of testing. The practical part deals with designing of prototypes for selected devices, which will be used for usability testing and comparing pointing techniques. It deals with the complete design of scene, testing scenarios and ways to interact with the objects via selected devices. Design of user interface is followed by a description of the implementation of prototypes. Conclusion of work includes preparation of usability testing, process of the testing, the participants' insights, test results, and finally analysis of the results of other possibilities for future development of prototypes.
