Focal Path Guiding
Main objective of this thesis is the reimplementaion of focal path guiding algorithm in the real-time rendering framework Falcor from NVIDIA. We start with an introduction to the problematic of ray tracing. Then we go through several ray tracing algorithms. Ending with the mentioned focal path guiding algorithm. We describe the implementation written in GPU shaders. In the end, we evaluate this implementation on different scenes and identify its strengths and weaknesses.
